OMP, The Start

The start of OMP began with three brothers, racing  was a big  part of the Percivale family since 1973 when, in a small town near Genoa, Italy, Roberto, Claudio and Piergiorgio began to manufacture roll cages and racing accessories for their own race cars in order to gain a competitive edge over fellow competitors.  Passion for motor sports was the driving force behind the creation of OMP, now in its 34th year of existence under the same ownership; an unprecedented record that further demonstrates the Company commitment to the auto racing Industry.   

Today O.M.P Racing is one of the world's leading manufacturers of racing safety equipment and tuning accessories with a catalog of over 4,500 different items.  Operating from a technologically advanced 80,000 sq ft facility in Italy, OMP products are renowned for its quality, the meticulous attention to details that is constantly challenged by setting higher standards.

Mitsubishi Ralliart Europe, Hyundia Motorsport, Toyota Grifone, Ferrari, Alfa Romeo, Lotus and Lamborghini use OMP Seats in their championships and one-make trophies.

OMP Seats cab be fitted also in every day cars so that those keen on Rally can use the same seats as top drivers such as:-

OMP Racing Seats are designed, constructed and tested in a modern laboratory in accordance with the strictest regulations where controlled structural test are carried out as required by the FIA 9955 rules.  OMP offers a complete line of seats engineered to meet the needs of competition, from the twisty roads of the World Rally Championship, to the GT Championships held on world wide racing circuits, to the extreme test of endurance or the Dakar.

In 1999 OMP attained the quality certification according to the ENI EN ISO 9002-1994 released by the prestigious TUV body. The Certificate, having no 50 100 0255 proves the constant effort aimed at obtaining an increasing improvement of the company's working system from an organizational and qualitative point of view.
